  • 200 ml water ¾ cup + 1 tbsp
  • 8 g salt 1 ½ tsp
  • 15 ml olive oil 1 tbsp

  • oregano to taste

  1. In a bowl, combine the flour, salt, water, and olive oil, mixing until you have a smooth, elastic dough.
  2. Lightly flour your work surface and roll the dough out as thinly as possible.
  3. Cut the dough into long, tongue-shaped strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  4. Place the dough strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix crushed tomatoes with a pinch of salt, a drizzle of olive oil, oregano, and chopped fresh basil to make a flavorful sauce.
  6. Spread the tomato mixture evenly over each dough strip.
  7. Bake in a preheated oven at 480°F (250°C) for 12–15 minutes, until the edges are golden and crispy.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy—these pizza tongues are best fresh from the oven, bursting with flavor and aroma.
