2-Ingredient Chocolate Peanut Clusters (Super Easy Snack!)

These 2-ingredient chocolate peanut clusters are the kind of snack that feels almost too easy to be this good. Just roasted peanuts and melted chocolate—no fancy techniques, no baking, no fuss. The result? Crunchy, rich, slightly salty bites that are nearly impossible to stop eating.

Whether you’re making them for a sweet midday pick-me-up, a fun lunchbox addition, or a last-minute gift idea, these clusters deliver. They’re naturally gluten-free, endlessly customizable, and kid-approved. You can use whatever chocolate you love (dark, milk, or even white) and switch up the nuts to make them your own. Plus, they store well and travel beautifully, making them a great option for holidays, school snacks, or little desk drawer treats.

All you need is a bowl, a spoon, and a little bit of patience while the clusters set. That’s it. They’re proof that simple can still be ridiculously satisfying.

Ingredients you’ll need:

  • Roasted peanuts (salted or unsalted)
  • Chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (dark, milk, or white)

📝 Note & Tips

  • Chocolate: Use any chocolate you like—dark, milk, or semi-sweet all work well. For a vegan version, choose dairy-free chocolate.
  • Peanuts: Roasted and unsalted peanuts are a great combo, but feel free to use almonds, cashews, or a nut mix.
  • Storage: Once set, store the clusters in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 week or in the freezer for about 3 months.
  • How to melt chocolate:
Microwave method: Place chopped chocolate or chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 20-30 second bursts, stirring well between each, until smooth and fully melted. Be careful not to overheat, as chocolate can burn easily.
Double boiler method: Place a heatproof bowl over a small pot of simmering water (without touching the water). Add chopped chocolate and stir until melted and smooth. This method melts chocolate gently and evenly.

Variations:

  • Switch the nuts: Try almonds, cashews, pistachios, or a mix of whatever you have on hand.
  • Add-ins: Toss in a handful of dried cranberries, raisins, or chopped dates for a chewy twist.
  • Sweet & salty: Sprinkle sea salt or flaky salt on top before the chocolate sets.
  • Spiced: Stir in a pinch of cinnamon, cayenne, or espresso powder for a fun flavor upgrade.
  • Festive touch: Top with crushed candy canes, sprinkles, or drizzle with contrasting chocolate for a holiday feel.

Storage:

Once the chocolate has fully set, transfer the clusters to an airtight container. They’ll keep at room temperature for up to 1 week, or in the fridge for up to 2–3 weeks. If you prefer a firmer texture or live in a warmer climate, refrigeration is best. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months—just let them thaw a few minutes before serving for the best flavor and crunch.
